Meet The DJ
DJ Big Mel is the sound behind the room — a Baltimore DJ rooted in Baltimore club music and the Baltimore Two-Step. Alongside collaborators like @beatzbydre, he helps put on outdoor step challenges, rooftop dance sessions, and neighborhood block parties, giving young people a place to move, create, and be part of something positive.
He also makes room for other DJs. Through The Big DJ Battle in Federal Hill, he gives rising DJs in the DMV a stage to showcase their skills, build a following, and grow their careers.
From community park events like Parkside to nights at Spikes Alley, Big Mel keeps Baltimore's fast-paced hometown sound front and center — played the way the city knows it.
Meet The Host
AKA Smiles is a Baltimore nightlife host and promoter, and a regular face at Spikes Alley. He hosts themed nights, after-hours, and watch parties, often alongside fellow hosts JeroneisKing and Bmore Q, and DJs like DJ Big Mel.
He's part of the crew that keeps Spikes Alley nights moving — including tonight's TRAPPD: Playboy Party, where he's hosting alongside Bmore Q and Blossom.
Confidence is king — that's the motto on his brand, established 2026.
Meet The Host
Bmore Q, who goes by the stage name King Slickk Q, is a competitive footwork dancer in Baltimore's club dance community, and part of the same circle as @beatzbydre and DJ Big Mel.
He is a two-time King of Baltimore (KOB) champion, in the dance tournament hosted by Bmore Than Dance, and a Red Bull Dance semifinalist, taking Baltimore's fast-paced footwork to a mainstream stage. Over a three-year span, he has held two crowns and a Prince title.
He also moves from the battle circle to hosting. He regularly teams up with @beatzbydre to host parties and sporting events in the city, including featured hosting at Spikes Alley for the Angels vs. Demons Ballerina Party and the Ravensween Watch Party — and tonight's TRAPPD: Playboy Party, where he's hosting alongside AKA Smiles and Blossom.
Meet The Host
Blossom, often going by @yg_ladyblossom_745, is an event host, media personality, and promoter, and a core member of Baltimore's underground nightlife and street dance circles. She works with the promotional crew that curates events for @beatzbydre, often billed alongside AKA Smiles, Bmore Q, and JeroneisKing.
She's the on-mic energy for urban parties. While DJ Big Mel controls the music and tempo, Blossom handles the mic — controlling the crowd, introducing dancers during local step challenges, hyping up the room, and keeping the energy moving.
She's a resident host for the Beatzbydre x Spikes Alley nights on Dolfield Ave, including TRAPPD: Playboy Party, Ravensween Watch Party, Sing Your Life Away, and Mixed Signals — the Traffic Light party for Coppin State's university week — and tonight's TRAPPD, where she's hosting alongside AKA Smiles and Bmore Q.
Honorable Host
@jeroneisking — Jerone, often referred to as King Jerone — is a Baltimore-based talent manager, promoter, and event host. Under his entertainment and management umbrella, Booked And Busy Management, he is a core figure behind the scenes of the city's nightlife, frequently collaborating with the same collective as @beatzbydre, DJ Big Mel, Bmore Q, and Blossom.
While the dancers and DJs in the group focus on performance, Jerone carves out his lane as an industry manager — scouting, managing, and booking local models, hosts, and rising performing artists, including DMV acts like George Gambino, for club appearances, concerts, and visual campaigns.
Alongside @beatzbydreent, his management team handles logistics, VIP coordination, and talent booking for their signature resident parties at Spikes Alley on Dolfield Ave, including TRAPPD: Playboy Party, FWU Fridays, and Sing Your Life Away.
Meet The Curator
Deondre, known online as @beatzbydre and Mr. Cut Up, is a Baltimore event curator, host, and dancer rooted in the DMV dance scene. His brand is built around helping young people find inner peace through dance, shared through energetic freestyle clips and tutorials in the high-energy footwork of the Baltimore Two-Step.
Through @beatzbydreent, he hosts and promotes nightlife across the DMV — from recurring nights like FWU Fridays to seasonal theme nights like TRAPPD: Playboy Party and Sing Your Life Away, often at Spikes Alley on Dolfield Ave.
In the local street dance scene, he's known as Baltimore's Best 2Step Dancer and the Cut Up Final Boss, with freestyle clips and challenges — including his Encore Challenge and rooftop footwork sessions — building his following across TikTok and Instagram.
